I have passionately loved homebirth since February of 1989 when my own life was guided into the world by a wonderful homebirth midwife and into my mother's loving arms. 30 years later my passion for birthing well continued as I began caring mamas and families outside the traditional model of care. I fully support the midwifery model of care that considers each woman as a unique being, designed by God for the beautiful process of birth.

I look forward to serving as many expectant mothers as the Lord sends our way.

I am located in Falkner, MS, along with my wonderful husband Robert and three children, Zayden, Zoey, and Ezekiel.

OUR STORY

- from tiny seed to fully blossomed -

Only God can work out a story like ours. After both having practices in other states, we were both unexpectedly uprooted, then distinctly replanted, in northern Mississippi within a year of each other. The two of us knew we were called to continue in midwifery, but we both felt such a strong desire for a partner in the work.

What we didn't know was that desire was put there by God and that, even 9 years prior, He was already planting the seeds for our partnership.

Through two mutual friends, countless prayers, and months of waiting, we were finally connected -- and the path forward was made abundantly clear.

Since my earliest recollections, I've loved pregnant bellies. As I grew, my passion grew and skills developed, and today I find myself serving women as midwife decades before I ever believed I would! I believe in caring for the whole woman - mental, emotional, and spiritual, right up there along with the physical, and that many of the "problems" that arise in birth can be overcome, or prevented altogether, long in advance, with thorough preventative care and an ever-watchful eye.

My husband, Ben, and I just celebrated 20 years of marriage and have eight magnificent treasures we call our children. Our first two were born in hospital with the remaining born at home in water.
